OPERATIONS
- Conduct repair and routine maintenance duties on equipment, building facilities and offices, building systems, grounds, and structures.
- Carry out installation work and maintenance checks on electrical systems, including wiring, outlets, controls, transformers, circuit breakers, computer, switches, router, cabling, fire detection, protection and/or security system.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical diagrams to determine the placement of outlets and fixtures
- Identify electrical problems using specialized tools like multimeters, or cable testers
- Repair and replace wiring and equipment using hand and power tools such as screwdrivers, saws, drills, wire strippers, and conduit breakers, with an emphasis on safety
- Direct and train fellow workers and teammates to install, maintain, and repair wiring and systems when enough knowledge has been gained
- To evaluate, give ideas in solving problems encountered at site to the supervisor or engineer for decision making.
- Ability to complete basic paperwork per company procedures, ensuring quality and accuracy of the inspection documents, purchasing and finance documents, service calls, test reports or other paperwork relevant to the scope of work.
- Prepare and identify equipment/tools required for a specific job.
- To complete tasks/jobs within the time allocated.
- To provide support after work hours if required in situations like emergency, customer complaints and response, workshop, commission meetings, and other company functions with a flexible attitude.
- Attend in-house or external trainings, events, or seminars as needed to build knowledge on technical or professional skills.
- Report daily of the work status for the assigned jobs to the technical or maintenance team with a punctual and accountable attitude.
- To ensure all safe systems of work are adhered to, ensuring a strong overall OH&S performance and safe and healthy workplace.
- Attend in-house or external trainings, events, or seminars as needed to build knowledge on technical or professional skills.
- Additional responsibility assigned by the superior within the scope of work.
- Assist in the maintenance and development of the QOHS MS.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION:
- Relevant trade certificate or diploma in electrical or electronic engineering.
- At least 5 years experience as a technician preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to work with a diverse team and build an excellent teamwork culture.
- Ability to comply and understand rules and instructions on legal, operations, and safety protocols.
- Show a flexible attitude to learn new personal and professional skills and take on extra tasks as necessary.
- Must be able to work under pressure in any circumstances and long hours.

OPERATIONS
- Conduct repair and routine maintenance duties on equipment, building facilities and offices, building systems, grounds, and structures.
- Carry out maintenance checks on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems; clean evaporator drain pans, coils, and filters; lubricate fan and motor bearings; repair and change motors, electrical wiring, belts, compressors, thermostats, fans, floating elements, and defrost timers.
- Carry out minor plumbing maintenance work such as change or repair of leaks in faucets and drains, trenching and laying of new lines, and unclogging of drains.
- Carry out minor electrical maintenance work, such as repair or replacement of fixtures, including wall switches and outlets, ballast, incandescent and fluorescent tubes and bulbs, fuses, sockets, etc., by applying the right tools.
- Take away pumps and motors, change bearings and shafts, repack and perform reinstallations or emergency repairs; perform adjustment on expansion valves; change, fix, and re-calibrate humidistats and thermostats, change hinges, gaskets, and hardware.
- Review blueprints and manuals for installation of air conditioning to ensure proper functioning and quality.
